Meyers has found great success as a solo artist, most memorably "Hey Baby, Que Paso" as well as with the Texas Tornados and The Sir Douglas Quintet. He appeared in a scene in STILL BREATHING that was unfortunately cut due to time restraints (sorry Augie!!).
